Momento Liquid Gold vs. Khamrah vs. Teriaq Intense: Close Enough?
Two notes sit on all three lists. After that, you pick a side.
Momento Liquid Gold landed in 2026 in a lane that already had big names. Lattafa's Khamrah carries 31,131 Fragrantica votes. Teriaq Intense, also Lattafa, is the perfume Liquid Gold's reviewers name most, after the original Momento. Here are all three, on paper. This comparison is built from note lists and reviews, not wear tests.
Riiffs Momento Liquid Gold
Liquid Gold opens like a fruit bowl: blackberry, tangerine, blood orange, bergamot, and mandarin. The heart is tonka bean and praline, with pomarose and mahonial. The base runs on akigalawood, sylkolide, cedar, and white musk. BeautyHouse's listing adds amberwood. Fragrantica voters rank the accords amber, vanilla, sweet, then citrus. It runs $49.99 for 100 ml at BeautyHouse as of October 18, 2026.

Not the Original Momento
Don't assume it smells like the original Momento. Liquid Gold is its own 2026 release with its own published pyramid. The 2025 original lists sugar, saffron, and mandarin on top, tonka bean, Damask rose, and agarwood (oud) in the heart, and caramel, amberwood, and cedar underneath. Some shop listings for Liquid Gold copy those notes anyway. Fragrantica's pyramid says blackberry, blood orange, praline, and pomarose instead. Mandarin, tonka bean, and cedar are the only notes the two Fragrantica pyramids share. Reviewers split on it. One says it smells nothing like the original. Another calls it a close second.
The Benchmark: Lattafa Khamrah
Khamrah opens on cinnamon, nutmeg, and bergamot. Dates, praline, tuberose, and mahonial fill the heart, and vanilla, tonka bean, amberwood, myrrh, benzoin, and akigalawood close it. Lattafa's own site words a few notes differently, including lily of the valley, roasted tonka, and benzoin laos. Khamrah has 31,131 votes on Fragrantica and a 4.21 rating. Liquid Gold has 35 votes and a 4.63. Weigh them accordingly.

The Name That Keeps Coming Up: Lattafa Teriaq Intense
Teriaq Intense is the other Lattafa, composed by Quentin Bisch of Givaudan and launched in 2024. It opens with saffron and bergamot, turns to plum liquor and cinnamon, and settles on amber, tonka bean, and benzoin. Fragrantica scores it 4.39 from 4,879 votes. Lattafa USA sells 100 ml for $49.99, as of October 18, 2026.

Where They Overlap and Where They Split
Bergamot and tonka bean are the two notes on all three lists. That is the floor. Past it, the pairs split off. On Fragrantica's pyramids, Liquid Gold and Khamrah also share praline, mahonial, and akigalawood. Khamrah and Teriaq Intense also share cinnamon and benzoin. Liquid Gold and Teriaq Intense share nothing beyond the floor. Each keeps something for itself: dates, tuberose, and myrrh for Khamrah; saffron and plum liquor for Teriaq Intense; blackberry, blood orange, tangerine, and white musk for Liquid Gold.
What the Reviewers Say
Four of Liquid Gold's 17 Fragrantica reviews compare the scent to Teriaq Intense. One finds it smells a bit like Teriaq Intense, with an orange note where the plum liquor was. Another says a fruity mandarin takes the boozy note's place. A third leans toward Teriaq Intense and Khamrah, with an orange twist. The fourth guesses a Tom Ford Plum Japonais dupe. Over on Teriaq Intense's page, Khamrah comes up often. Of the 110 reviews readable there, more than 20 name it, and they split. One reviewer who tested them side by side puts them at 80% similar. Another says not to listen to anyone who says it's like Khamrah.
The Call
Close enough? Close enough for the notes to rhyme. Not close enough to call a clone. On Fragrantica's pyramids, Khamrah is the closer cousin to Liquid Gold, with five shared notes against two for Teriaq Intense. By the reviewers, Teriaq Intense is the name that comes up. Teriaq Intense and Khamrah share four notes between them, and a good deal of argument. If dates and tuberose are your thing, only Khamrah lists them. If it's saffron and plum liquor, that's Teriaq Intense. If you want the sweet, fruity lane with blackberry and blood orange up front, Liquid Gold is the new one to try. Nobody wore these side by side for this piece, so longevity and projection stay open. Liquid Gold at BeautyHouse and Teriaq Intense at Lattafa USA both list at $49.99, so price won't break the tie.
