Tuberose gets a reputation for arriving loud, but Vendetta Donna opens on the tamer side of that promise. The petals are there, unmistakably, but the opening minutes are softer than the note's history suggests, more suggestion than announcement.

Red orange nectar does the real work in the middle. It's juicy without turning candied, and it keeps the tuberose from tipping into the heavy, funeral-adjacent territory the flower can wander into on its own. The two notes trade places for a while, floral then fruit then floral again.

Sandalwood closes it out warm. No powder, no soap, just wood settling in underneath what came before. By the dry-down, it reads less like one loud flower and more like a room after the flower's been in it a while.

Valentino built Vendetta Donna alongside a matching Uomo, Dominique Ropion and Andrew Everett behind the composition. The house calls it Vendetta. Nothing about wearing it suggests a grudge.
