Le Parfum
Max Mara built a reputation on one coat. Le Parfum spends its opening breath translating that same restraint into scent, tuberose standing in for wool and vanilla for the lining. It's the house's first fragrance since signing with Shiseido in 2024, and it doesn't smell like a brand finding its footing.
Vanilla
Cedarwood
Tuberose has a reputation for taking over a room. Most fragrances either lean into that or fight it with something sharp and citrus. Le Parfum does neither. It pairs the flower with two versions of itself, a fresh cut from Grasse and a creamier absolute from Guatemala, then lets vanilla soften the edges before dry sandalwood and cedarwood close it down. The result reads more tailored than floral. Nothing about it announces itself twice.
The formula is vegan, and the brand puts natural-origin ingredients at 90 percent. That's a real consideration if you're shopping with that filter, not a marketing footnote.
One thing worth knowing before you buy: this isn't the Le Parfum from 2008. Same house, same name, unrelated fragrance. If you're comparing reviews online, check the year.
Le Parfum launches August 24, 2026, in sizes from 10 ml to 100 ml, roughly $36 to $180. Not yet listed at BeautyHouse or Amazon at time of publish, we'll update this page once retail catches up.
