The heart is where Reina earns its name. Jasmine, frangipani, and orange blossom give it a floral backbone. Then coconut and coffee arrive together and do something interesting. That combination reads tropical-meets-roasted, and it gives this fragrance a texture most in its price range skip entirely.
The base settles into vanilla, sandalwood, cooked sugar, dry amber, and white musk. Long-wearing and soft. The cooked sugar and dry amber run warmer than Olympéa Absolu's base. A feature, not a drawback, especially in fall and winter. For summer, wear it at night.

Olympéa Absolu is the most intense version in Paco Rabanne's Olympéa line, launched in 2025. It opens with apricot, moves into jasmine, and settles into vanilla and amber. The brand frames it as a beach-at-nighttime scent — warm, a little mysterious, the kind of thing that reads differently after sundown. It's focused and clean, with fewer moving parts in the heart. Hawas Reina shares the apricot and jasmine, but the coconut, coffee, and frangipani give it a richer, more layered middle. Both finish warm. Reina's finish is denser. That's a different use case, not a step down.
